Gypsy is open jeep type vehicle very popular among guest. Gypsy is permitted by Forest department in ranthambore. Max. 6 person allowed in gypsy per ride. Gypsy can be book either on sharing or on exclusive basis. In sharing, each person have his own seat and all the 6 person will do safari on sharing basis. In Exclusive, one person can book whole Gypsy and can have safari exclusively. Gypsy safari is allowed in every zone from zone 1 to zone 10.

Canter is open bus type vehicle permitted by forest department for ranthambore safari. Max. 20 person allowed for safari in canter. Mostly canter can be book on sharing basis but if there is large group of person then whole canter can be book, so they all can have safari together. Canter safari is allowed in almost every zone except zone no. 7 & Zone no. 8.

Half/Full day safari is also popular in guest. In Half Day Safari, Gypsy will be allot for safari and max. 5 person will be allow for safari. Safari duration is longer than the normal safari. Safari duration is about 5 to 6 hour and safari vehicle is zone free. Safari vehicle can go in any zone and free for visit in other zone.
In Full Day Safari, Gypsy will be allot for safari and max. 5 person will be allow safari. Safari start from early in the morning and ends in evening. Safari vehicle is free to visit any zone and can go in other zone. Safari duration is about 9 to 10 hour. It is very popular safari type among photographers.
